Rosa del Viento Tulum...

Rosa del Viento was probably the best find of my Mexican holiday. I was originally told that no matter where you stay, as long as you are near Tulum beach you would have the best of times. This is probably not a false statement as that beach is one of the most beautiful ones I have ever set foot on. But, it is only fair to say that Rosa del Viento made it this extra bit special.
Being a holiday addict and taking hotel research extremely seriously I spent hours browsing the internet for the perfect place. Rosa del Vineto open only 6 month ago and is already a success. It strikes the perfect balance between the 'natural beach feel' and top class facilities ( it is always nice to have your own ensuite, air conditioning and a proper roof above your head! not the case of most of Tulum's beach cabanas). In addition the food was simply splendid! The hotel owner/manager is Italian, as a result the menu is a refined mixed of Italian classic and Mexican traditional food! Fish dishes were delicate and perfectly cooked, and oven pizzas brought Italy straight to Yucatan.
For a little extra do not miss out on Arnette's massages on the beach... Tiene las manos magicas!
