Fish!

For the London special of this week I have picked a restaurant that serves fish, obviously, but fish only! It is located at the heart of Borought market ( I will soon dedicate a whole post to this lively place) and after walking many times by, along the large glass windows and getting a glimpse of delicious fresh fish I have finally brought myself to book a table. The location is fantastic in terms of the publicity the place gets (thousands of people walk by it weekly at the market). The restaurant has a modern airy setting. The glass ceiling lets you admire both the Southwark cathedral and the Shard, and the large windows/walls give you the impression of being among all the other market shoppers, getting the buzz whilst being nicely seated and enjoying the food. Ah the food... Delicious! Many restaurant now pride themselves in serving gourmet 'fish & chips' but Fish! was on of the first to set this trend an the quality has not dropped since. A extensive wine list allows connoisseurs to match the wine to their taste and food and in any case the waiters are always helpful. Prices are almost justified by the quality of the food, I even managed to convince my french friends to try mushy peas without pulling a disgusted face. All Fish! cravings will be satisfied!
