Dear readers this has not much to do with markets but yesterday I went to the Rio London Occupation event and I simply have to write about this unusual night! I am not sure how to qualify the event. It was a mixture between a photographic display, live modern art, a barbecue, a play, a concert and a barbecue! In one word: a big party! Located in the old biscuit factory of bermondsey the event was advertised by the London Olympic organisers and gathered a young crowd. At first I was not to sure weather to stay or flee! The art was weird for lack of a better word and the ambiance slightly too edgy for my liking. But you still could see the Brazilian spirit coming through as the painting where colourful and warn in their oddness. After a delicious sandwich from the barbecue and a caipirinha the party truly got started. A Brazilian band started playing and the dark factory turned into Copa Cabsna !!! You couldn't resist to dance! The singer was giving it his all, the musicians were in trance, what a night!
