Jet Set Bobo Chic here is a new place for you!
Carré Mer is a new concept restaurant located on the beach neighboring Palavas-les-Flots.
I say a restaurant but it is more than that. It's a shop, a bar, a private beach a party place, it's whatever you make of it.
I had lunch there back in May and on that day it was the best place to watch strong and agile men compete in kite-surfing! A multitude of kites were coloring the sky each possessed with a life of its own it seamed. That was until the whistle was blown and they all took the same direction, and the same will, to be first!

All this excitement helps you work a real appetite! Good there are plenty delicious dishes to be served! The place has not got the ambition of being a gourmet stop over but it prides itself in serving tasty fish, large salads, original deserts and all the classics well cooked and always fresh!

A bit full? I recommend the lovely walk along the beach to reach the Cathédrale de Maguelone a gorgeous ruin and also a winery.

But let's get back to  Carré Mer.  The déco must be mentionned. The 'white' is definatly the dominent theme. You will find furniture from the 60's, wooden mirors, lovely hanging lamps, all creating a very relaxing and laid back atmosphere.

As far as the drink list goes rosé from the region will go splendidly with your lunches whilst you might favor the cocktails in the evening, they taste delicious and help you get in the party mood. By bringing the best DJ's and having such a fantastic location Carré Mer knows how to throw a decent party!

Aw and for once there is no waiting for the bill! Just pay on your way out.
