Chef Taku's Parisian dishes @ Fish

To End this Fish, Sea, Brittany on a high I've decided to introduce guest writers. My friend Lumi, a renowned foody has accepted to write a few lines. Thank you!

Paris' best kitchens, look well and listen to conversations, you'll see there are more and more non-french cooks and chefs. And some of them are damn good!! And here's one...

There's a charming restaurant, in the famous Saint Germain des Près neighbourhood, called Fish la Boissonnerie. Chef is Japanese, and his cuisine is yummy -* v *-

One word to sum up the whole Fish experience: AWSOME.

Most of the other patrons are "les anglophones", as well as the staff. I felt as if I was part of Woody Allen's film shot in Paris and playing one of those fancy extras in a casual chic décor.

Service is friendly, casual, "helloooow how's it going?" type manner, which makes you feel as if you've been there many times and they know your face: personally, it's great!! (as long as they don't actually mistake you for someone else who actually IS a return client!)

The food: Don't be fooled by the name of the restaurant and think they only serve fish. The chef is brilliant not only with fish, but also meat AND veggies. I think he has a particular talent to simmer fish and cook meat just at the right temperature and the right timing, not to mention the way he decorates his dishes: simple, pretty, and right to the point: "eat it".

☆(€ o €)☆ --> 35€ for starters-main course-desert, which is more than reasonable and just about the right price you find in Paris for a high level bistro/gastronomy (whatever you'd like to call them, gastro, bistro gastro, bistronomique...) well, thinking about it I think the correct term for this one would be... dun dun dun... Bar à vins semi gastronomique (?!) correct me if I'm wrong.
